The Inland Empire .NET User’s Group promotes the learning of all the .NET Framework has to offer, as well as, exploring development methodologies, databases, and desktop and web applications. Regardless of experience, the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group is open to all who have a passion for software development and a desire to participate.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Study Groups are available to members who pay the annual dues in advance. The Study Groups meet from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, and allow the members to study for, and achieve, their Microsoft Certifications.
At the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, various products and software licenses are raffled off. Single meeting dues entitle you to one (1) raffle ticket. By submitting an RSVP on the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group website, you will be given an additional raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at a cost of $1 each.
Annual dues, payable in advance are $50.00. Per meeting dues are $5 per meeting. Up to two (2) per meeting fees may be used towards an annual membership. Only Annual Paid Membership members will have access to “members-only” portions of the site, which includes, but is not limited to, forum discussions, code and presentation downloads, special offers from various sponsors, job postings by local and regional employers, and Study Group participation. Annual dues, as well as per meeting dues, are non-refundable.
All monies collected go to the support of the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group and pay for refreshments, special events, and the overall expenses incurred by the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group, which includes, but is not limited to, domain name registration, server rental space and various other expenses as deemed necessary by the Inland Empire NET User’s Group steering committee. Full disclosure of all income and expenditures of the group are available to Annual Paid members upon request.
As the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group is a professional organization, it is expected that the members act accordingly. Network access, both hard line and wireless, may be available at the meeting facility. Proper network protocol and etiquette is expected, necessary and required. Abuse of this privilege will result in the dismissal, without refund of dues paid, of the member.
Members and attendees who do not act in a professional manner during meetings will be asked to leave. At the discretion of the User Group's Leadership team, members and attendees who continually act in a non-professional, and/or derogatory manner will be prohibited from attending future meetings.
Members in good standing are encouraged to facilitate and help with the administration of the group by requesting participation in the Steering, Web and Study Group committees.
Events and presentations will be posted at least 14 days in advance of their scheduled meeting time.
As the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group is supported by various sponsors, including Microsoft, the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group reserves the right to postpone a previously scheduled presentation to allow for a sponsor’s presentation.
Marketing and demographic data, relating to the makeup of the group in terms of member experience, programming language preference and other demographic data may be made available to our sponsors from time to time. No personal contact information will ever be sold, rented, traded or shared with any other entity including our sponsors, or other user groups. The contact information you provided during signup will be used to notify you of upcoming meetings, events and special announcements. Unless you specify, your contact information (first name, last name, email address, programming language preference and expertise) will be made available to other members of the group. Contact information will be obfuscated as much as possible, to prevent harvesting by web bots and other system tools. If you wish to not have your contact information publicly available, you have the option of turning this off in your profile section.
Sponsors, who have donated a product or software license, will be notified of the winner’s name and email address the day after the raffle drawing. This information may be used for marketing purposes by the sponsor and is outside the terms of the Inland Empire .NET User’s Group.
